(Speizer, 2006) It is stated that the study of "internal staffing history and skill sets, external and internal business trends, demographic data and other variables" that the HR leader can "predict a company's talent-related needs years into the future." (Speizer, 2006)
V. Summary & Conclusion
Starbucks did manage to negotiate their way successfully through the events occurring with Ethiopian coffee farmers and likewise today's MNC can do the same through utilization of open communication and as noted by Kaczmarczyk and Lewicki (2007) a deep interaction "of local culture, patterns of behavior and perceptional schemes" allowing the MNC to become standardized however only in alignment with local culture and principles instead of attempting to adapt the organization to some type of 'universal norm'.
